Richard Ali is a Nigerian lawyer, novelist and poet. He is the Managing Editor of the Jalada Africa Trust, a literary collective and digital publisher based in Nairobi, Kenya. He has published the novel, City of Memories (Parrésia Books 2012), and the poetry collection, The Anguish and Vigilance of Things (Konya Shamsrumi 2019). He also works on internal security issues, particularly in the field of preventing and countering violent extremism (PCVE).
